Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Paula Abdul have been handed an unusual award – they’ve been named among the Best Mannered People of 2011.
The National League of Junior Cotillions have released their annual list of the most outstanding role models of the year (2011) and all three stars made the cut.
Justin and Taylor were selected for consistently showing courtesy to their fans and veteran Paula Abdul was picked for her always-encouraging words of wisdom to aspiring performers as a judge on America’s The X Factor.
Receiving the shameful crown of Most ill-Mannered Person of 2011 was reality star Kim Kardashian for “making a private matter public and disrespecting the institution of marriage”. KimK divorced her husband Kris Humphries just 72 days after their high-profile summer wedding.
Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift Write Song Together! Awesome!
Justin Bieber and Taylor swift have written a song together in the studio, according to Grammy award-winning songwriter and producer Kuk Harrell, who has worked Rihanna and Katy Perry in the past.
Kuk wrote on twitter: “Wow!! Got to see @justinbieber & @taylorswift13 write a song together last night!! SMASH!!!! SMASH!!! SMASH!!! Let’s do it again Yall!!! (sic)”
He then tweeted Taylor and Justin to praise their work.
Kuk wrote: “@taylorswift13 You and Justin Killed that writing last night!!! SMASH!!!!!!!”
Justin and Taylor’s collaboration comes shortly after he made a surprise appearance on stage with Swifty to perform his song ‘Baby’ with her as part of her ‘Speak Now’ tour gig at the Los Angeles’ Staples Center on Tuesday (23.08.11).
Following the concert, Taylor tweeted: “You think you’ve heard LOUD screaming in your life. Then @justinbieber comes out and does a surprise song during your show. Woah. Unreal. (sic)”
Expect to see them together in the music video too! Awesome!

Justin Bieber Wants to Duet with miss Taylor Swift
As Justin Bieber continues to see his star rise, he has voiced his desire to be able to work with fellow young star, country singer Taylor Swift.
Chatting with press during his UK tour, the 15-year-old tells, “I would love to work with Taylor in the future. She’s a great writer, songwriter, musician, singer, so she’s an all-round great person. I think it would be great.”
Funnily enough, Justin actually had a bit of an unfortunate incident during a past experience while onstage with Taylor Swift.
“I actually broke my foot on stage performing with Taylor Swift,” Justin said. “I was opening up for her, which was a lot of fun — although it definitely wasn’t fun when I broke my foot. I was running and there was a little dip in the stage, and I rolled my ankle and broke it. I finished the song but it was still a great night.”
