Justin Bieber is being sued by the mother of one of his fans for hearing loss — it sounds like the beginning of a really bad joke about the quality of his music, but trust us, it’s not.
According to Ace Showbiz, Stacey Wilson Betts took her daughter to a Justin Bieber concert in 2010, and now claims that the deafening noise of his fans’ screams and a “sound blast” that “exceeded safe decibel levels” damaged her hearing, leaving her with severe tinnitus (a ringing in the ear) and hyperacusis (an oversensitivity to sound).
