Justin Bieber is a huge fan of the late Michael Jackson, so it’s no surprise that the 17-year-old and would want to honor the King of Pop, but this week is different.
January 27 marks the opening of ‘Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour’ by Cirque du Soleil, which is inspired by the man and his music. MJ is also being honored with a hand and footprint ceremony at the famous Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on January 26. Will Justin attend?
“Honoring the greatest @michaeljackson this week,” the pop star wrote on Monday in response to a message about the ceremony from Jackson’s Twitter account. “He set the bar for all of us. #MJFOREVER.”
Amber Riley and Harry Shum Jr. are set to appear at the hand and foot ceremony, which comes just before ‘Glee’s’ Michael Jackson tribute episode, so it’ll definitely be a star-studded event. So far, Justin hasn’t been announced as a guest, but we could see him at the kick off of the Cirque du Soleil show in Los Angeles the next day instead. Fingers crossed, Beliebers!

Justin denied the accusations and even submitted to a DNA test while Selena put a show of support during the ordeal.

Justin and his dad went shirtless as they lapped up the sunshine, played sports and exercised.
The Mistletoe singer had the company of a friend too and the trio set about working up a sweat with some press ups in the sand.
It wasn’t long before Justin attracted a gaggle of girls, who came flocking with the pop star obligingly posing for photographs with them.
Bieber’s latest inking is based on the image of Jesus called Ecce Homo dating back to 1610 by artist Rubens.
The design was first spotted back in December, although it could only be partially seen.

Justin Bieber has always been seen as an innocent child, who enjoyed making music for a younger audience. And then, all of a sudden, he is being accused of having wild sex with a girl after one of his concerts and on top of that, he is a dad. Well, that drama has since fizzled out, but being a celebrity does come with a handful of critics and now, Bieber is making controversial headlines once again. And this time, it is about his passion – his music!
As many know, Justin performed at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eveshow that went live in New York City’s Times Square. Although he sang a few of his own songs, he also covered a popular Beatles hit, Let it Be. With everything he has gone through over the past year, he has always encouraged his fans to look beyond the drama and just focus on the music. In other words, let the drama be drama. However, this performance is the center of a brand new controversy.
So why is it that a popular singer, such as Justin Bieber can’t cover the classics? Well, critics are finding that Bieber compared his drama to the meaning of the song, but those hardcore Beatles fans were less than impressed that Bieber tackled the song and made it his own. In 2010, Bieber had reportedly made a comment that insinuated that he compared himself to the Beatles. The shaggy bangs Bieber sported throughout his earlier career have also been linked to the popular hairstyle of the 1960s.
Even his own manager, Scooter Braun, has made comparisons between the group and Bieber. “I don’t want to draw comparisons,” he is quoted as saying by Billboard magazine, “but there was a band during the British Invasion that had girls screaming at them. I think you know who I’m talking about,” Braun is quoted in Entertainment Weekly.
So is this really a Justin Bieber controversy worth taking notice of? Well, those who are not Bieber fans are jumping on the bandwagon and lashing out on Twitter. Perhaps next time Bieber wants to perform a personal song about his issues, he should write it himself to avoid more bad press. When you want it done right, you have to do it yourself.
