Lawyer says Mariah Yeater Wants to Settle Down with Justin Bieber out of Court

Mariah Yeater tried repeatedly to settle with Justin Bieber out of court, her lawyer said Wednesday.

Chicago lawyer Jeffrey Leving sent emails to the Bieb’s camp twice in September and again Oct. 3 asking for a private paternity test and direct negotiations without the need for a court filing, Leving told the Daily News.

He got no response.

“It could have been done painlessly, with the media never knowing about it,” Leving claimed. “Access to justice should not be a luxury only the rich can afford, especially in a society where people are so enamored by celebrity status and wealth.”

Leving said he “trusts” Mariah Yeater’s story after lengthy discussions with her and her mother and hopes a judge will order a DNA test after a court hearing Dec. 15.

He said Bieber’s lawyer did agree to a test, but Leving wants to make sure it’s court-ordered and properly supervised.

“There has to be a sufficient chain of custody. Now it’s a high-profile case, and there’s motive to corrupt this. People are so enamored with Justin Bieber, you could have someone change samples in a lab because of love for this guy,” he claimed.

“She’s an unemployed single mother struggling to make a future while being intimidated and bullied. She has a right to make her case without threats of being sued or jail time. This is outrageous,” Yeater’s lawyer said.

Justin Bieber Will Take Paternity Test In Two Weeks

As soon as Justin Bieber returns from a European promotional jaunt in two weeks he will take a paternity test to prove that he did not father a child with a fan who has claimed the pair had a backstage tryst.

Bieber’s spokesperson, Matthew Hiltzik, confirmed for MTV News that the test has been scheduled. “I can confirm that the team has proactively made arrangements for Justin to be tested upon his return and we’re going to hold everyone who is involved responsible.” Bieber, 17, has denied that he is the father of accuser Mariah Yeater’s four-month-old child and his team has promised legal action following the results of the test.

“It’s sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims,” Hiltzik said in a statement. “We’ll vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to protect Justin and to hold those involved with bringing this suit accountable for their actions.”

Mariah Yeater claiming Justin Bieber is the father of her baby reportedly accused two other men of being the father first.

Mariah Yeater initially said the dad was her ex John Terranova before saying it was a secret lover called Steve, the Sunday Mirror reports.

Once her son Tristyn was born in July she then began her claim that Justin Bieber was the father.

A friend of Mariah said: “I saw Mariah four months ago – just before she gave birth – and she said she thought her boyfriend John was the baby’s father. But she also said Steve might be the real dad.”

Her ex John Terranova revealed that he initially believed her claims he was the baby’s father, but when he checked the dates he realised it couldn’t be true.

He also said: “I know it’s not Justin Bieber. She just wants money.”

Her friend added that Mariah Yeater has a history of pregnancy claims and telling “stupid little lies”.

Bieber’s Baby-Moma: What’s Her Story?

Yeater’s ex, John Terranova says: “I know it’s not Justin Bieber … She just wants money. It’s a scam.”

The Justin Bieber “Baby” extravaganza launched 20-year-old Mariah Yeater into the spotlight — and public scrutiny. Sources are now claiming the Canadian baby-mama has pointed the finger at other men before.

Like her ex-boyfriend John Terranova, for instance. The New York Post quotes him saying — she’s a gold digger.

“Terranova scoffed at Yeater’s claim that it was the then-16-year-old Bieber who impregnated her in October 2010 during a 30-second sex session in the bathroom of the LA Staples Center after he performed there. ‘I know it’s not Justin Bieber … She just wants money. It’s a scam.’”

Terranova says she originally told him the baby was his. And according to the Daily Mirror, she’s also said the father was a mysterious lover named “Steve.”

“A friend said: ‘Steve was her secret boyfriend for a long time. She said they made love twice.’ … Mariah’s friend said jobless Miss Yeater has a history of claiming to be pregnant and telling ‘stupid little lies.’”

But if this is a lie, it’s one that might get her arrested. Fox News anchors ask — If she claimed to have sex with the Biebs when she was 19, isn’t she admitting to statutory rape?

REPORTER:“Alright, so here’s the question. If she sues him for child support and she is saying I had sex with this kid. Isn’t she admitting to statutory rape under the laws of California since she was 19 and he was 16?”
REPORTER:“She certainly is. Now, here’s what’s boding well in her favor. Generally, they’re not prosecuted. Why? Because of the proximity of the ages.

Yeater released several photos of the alleged lovechild, Trysten.

The Daily Mail quotes her saying “Just look at his mouth. Look familiar?”

But the paper also reports, Yeater has a history of pulling…stunts.

“Court papers show that Yeater was arrested on 21st December on suspicion of battery domestic violence, injury, destroying property of another and making threatening telephone calls.”

The scandal has sparked rumors of a Bieber-Gomez split. But don’t believe all the gossip you hear — the couple were just seen holding hands at the entrance to the MTV Europe Awards.

She’s not giving up. Check out the first new interview from the woman behind the outrageous baby allegations — Mariah Yeater.

In a sit-down with The Insider airing tonight, Yeater outlines what she claimed was an October 2010 post-concert liason with Bieber at Los Angeles’ Staples Center. She claims a security guard invited her into the VIP area backstage, where Bieber “immediately took a liking to me” and supposedly asked her if they could “go somplace and be alone.”

“We went, and on the walk to wherever his destination was, he asked, or he was telling me, that he’d like to make love to me, all sweet and cute and touchy, and then when we got to, it turned out to be a bathroom, his whole demeanor changed, It went from cute and gushy, you know, to just more aggressive.”
