When Helene Campbell met Ellen, she was in desperate need of a lung transplant. Now that she’s received her lungs, Helene is doing incredible work to help more people survive just like she did. Helene and her family have partnered with Toronto General Hospital to establish the Give 2 Live Campaign. Through this fundraising initiative, she hopes to inspire people to help patients and their families across North America. Checkout The Video!

Justin Bieber Miley Cyrus taylor swiftJustin Bieber rounded out the top five, honored for his work with Pencils of Promise and his Believe Charity Drive.

Taylor Swift won the nod because she donated $4 million to the Country Hall of Fame museum. The non-profit also recognized her for being the youngest recipient of the Ripple of Hope Award, which she received at the Robert F. Kennedy Center earlier this month.
