BILLBOARD: Justin Bieber Tour is ranked #1 for the 2nd consecutive week in ‘Hot Tours’

Justin Bieber tops the Hot Tours for the second consecutive week with $8.6 million in ticket sales in the last two cities end of their world tour, the Believe Tour: Mexico and Brisbane City in Australia. The city of Mexico was the final market during the visit of the singer in 12 countries in Latin America. The last date was two (2) shows at Foro Sol stadium in Mexico City that houses 55,000 people for concerts.

The structure of 20-year-old is a venue that hosts professional baseball, but also served as a major destination for concerts in Latin America since it was built in 1993. The two shows Bieber at Foro Sol, respectively on 18 and 19 November, grossed U.S. $ 9million and 98 538 tickets sold. That was the highest grossing in the stadium of one main attraction this year, surpassing performances by One Direction, Black Sabbath, The Cure, The Killers, among others.

The “Believe” tour in Oceania began on November 23 in Auckand, New Zealand, but the first place was the Australian “Brisbane Entertainment Centre”. Bieber showed up at the arena on 26 and 27 November to more than 13 million fans on both nights. Concerts in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth also complete the itinerary of the tour, before the final presentation on December 8.
