Selena Gomez sent a message to her ex Justin Bieber at a Unicef concert, with her cover of break-up song ‘Cry Me A River’. The pair recently broke up, and now Selena has performed the same song that Justin also sang months ago – when they first started having trouble.
“I’ve been through a lot the past few months. It’s weird and sad and cool,” Selena said, when introducing the track. “This song definitely speaks to me.”
Wearing a white dress and flowers in her hair, Selena changed the lyrics to “Boy, I refuse, you must have got me confused with some other girl,” and at the end of the song, laughed and said, “Okay, that’s enough of that.”
She also performed a cover of Taylor Swift’s ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ and Britney Spears’ ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time’, as well as The Lumineers’ hit ‘Ho Hey’.
