The pop superstar from Stratford, Ont., recently announced he would add 30 dates on his Believe tour, including July 25 and 26 at the Air Canada Center.
Just seconds after tickets went on sale on Ticketmaster.ca, only single seats were available, and those were also quickly gone. On Wednesday morning, an undisclosed number of tickets allotted to the fan club pre-sale also sold out almost immediately.
By noon Friday there were more than 3,400 seats for the two shows listed on ticket reseller Stubhub.com, priced as high as $3,500.
Bieber’s world tour, which will stretch into at least August, is one of the toughest tickets in entertainment. When the first 80-plus dates of the Believe tour went on sale last summer, 56,000 seats for the Dec. 1 concert at the Rogers Centre sold out in a minute flat.
