Justin Bieber and Katy Perry have both rushed to Tweet their messages of congratulations to One Direction, after the boys’ album Up All Night stormed the US iTunes chart.
Heartthrob Bieber congratulated Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson tweeting: ‘congrats to my dudes @onedirection for the #1 album on itunes and @thewantedmusic for the #2 on singles. We share the same queen. #Canadian’
Niall replied: ‘thanks a lot dude, much appreciated and yeh you’re right!’
The love-in continued with Justin tweeting back: ‘good guys always win bro. congrats’
But Bieber wasn’t the only celeb to jump on the One Direction bandwagon with Katy Perry eager to congratulate the boys as well.
Perry acted as a guest judge on The X Factor in 2010 and put Niall through to the boot camp stage.
She tweeted him: ‘Congratulations, you didn’t let me down! xo.’
