Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) today announced the signing of an exclusive world-wide publishing agreement with platinum break-through artist Justin Bieber. The publishing deal encompasses all of Bieber’s catalogue, including his debut album My World (Island) and his upcoming album My World (Part II).
Bieber’s debut album, My World, was released in November 2009 and has already gone Platinum in the U.S. My World has appeared in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart and has reached No. 1 on the Pop iTunes chart since its launch. Bieber’s next album, My World (Part II), will be released in March. The lead single, “Baby” (co-written and produced by Tricky Stewart) has already reached No. 1 on the Pop iTunes chart.
